Description
These first year raspberry plants, in a one gallon pot, are ready for their new home. They are exact clones of the mother plant we have in our garden. I added some pictures of the mother plant and the look of the mature berries it will produce. This is a Willamette (Rubus Hybrid) variety and produces berries off of the previous years growth. Expect the raspberry plant this year to send out more shoots and produce a first year harvest in summer 2022. We have grown these plants in only organic soils and fertilized with worm castings from our indoor vermicomposting bins.
This raspberry variety does very well on Vancouver Island and has produced amazing crops for us over the past 6 years. The berries have an amazing sweet and tart flavour that is just perfect. Great for making homemade jams and topping salads and oatmeal with them.

** All the plastic pots (pictured above) used for growing will be reused in our garden and we will transplant your ordered plants into a homemade newspaper pot before delivery. This cuts down on the garbage/ recycling that’s produced in our urban farm. We try and reduce as much waste as possible, thank you for understanding. <3
