Vegan Waffles

This Vegan waffle recipe is a game changer. It's the perfect way to start your morning. Top with fresh fruit, yogurt and our favourite, maple syrup! This is our families go to recipe and we hope you enjoy.

Waffle Iron
Hand/Stand Up Mixer
Spatula
- 2 Flax-seed Eggs (2 Tablespoon ground flax, 6 Tablespoons water)
Dry Ingredients
- 2 cups Unbleached All Purpose Flour
- 4 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
Wet Ingredients
- ¼ cup Coconut Oil
- ¼ cup Pumpkin Pure
- 1 ¾ cups Almond Milk or Coconut Milk
- ½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Pre-heat waffle iron.
Make your flaxseed eggs in your mixing bowl.
Combine dry ingredients into a sperate bowl.
Add all wet ingredients into the bowl with the flaxseed egg and mix.
Dump the dry into the wet and mix on low until just combined and then turn up the speed for 10 seconds to try and get as many lumps out as you can.
Add oil to waffle iron and cook based on your waffle iron instructions.
